Take notes of your discussion with the doctor, questions asked and time spent with you. Many times, doctors in the employ of an insurance company will not accurately note symptoms you describe or pain you report. You should not exaggerate or minimize your injury.
- Your medical bills should be paid by the insurance carrier for your employer. If unable to work, you will not receive payment until after the first seven days of disability.
